Billing and Shipping FAQ

I placed an order a few hours ago.  Why hasn't the charge appeared on my credit card yet?

When you place an order, we confirm that you have funds for payment, but we don't collect those funds until we have confirmed that the book is still in stock.  When we have the book in our hand, ready to wrap up and ship to you, we'll update the order and your card will be charged.

My card has not been charged yet.  Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order any time before the payment has processed/cleared.  Once your payment has processed or cleared, you'll need to request a refund rather than cancelling your order.

Can I pay via personal check or money order?

Yes.  Just choose the appropriate option during checkout and send your payment via post.  When your payment has cleared, we will ship your book.

Do you have a layaway program?

We do not offer a layaway program at this time.

My payment cleared.  When will my book arrive?

Unless you've made other arrangements, your book will be shipped via USPS media mail, and will arrive in 7-10 days.

I would like to have additional insurance on my book (or have other special shipping requests).  How do I make arrangements?

Just use our contact form to let us know, and we'll work directly with you to honor all reasonable shipping requests.

Can I track my shipment?

We update your order with tracking information as applicable; just log into your account and click on your order to find the shipping details.
